Hi, I'm Ruud, a maker from the Netherlands with a passion for dust collection engineering.

Through Capturing Dust, I design, build, and test advanced dust collection solutions for workshops. By combining engineering, 3D printing and real-world experimentation.

I push cyclone and centrifugal separator designs toward separation efficiencies approaching 99.99%, while constantly searching for ways to push performance even further.

My mission is simple: explore the limits of dust collection technology and openly share the results so others can learn, reproduce, and improve upon them.
